Your Giving Week Fundraiser Guide

It's time to take the love you have for your favorite part of Lindenwood University, and share it broadly!  Giving Week is designed to make it super simple for you to build support for the area of the University that you care most about. Building your own fundraiser is the most fundamental way you can help us make Giving Week a success, so let's get everyone in your network ready to give!

Peer-to-Peer Fundraising is as easy as...

Fundraising Basics

How do I become a Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser?

Just search for the fund you want to support, view the profile, and click the Fundraise button to set up your profile.

What link do I share?

You'll want to share the link created for your fundraising page found in your Fundraising Dashboard.

You can also share the fund's main campaign link, and your supporters will still be able to donate to your specific page!

How do I get the word out?

To get the word out about Giving Week, send email messages, post on social media, and talk to your family and friends directly. Check out some of the sample content below for ideas of what to post and when!

What am I Responsible for?

  • As a Fundraiser, you're responsible for getting the word out about Giving Week, and encouraging support for the fund that you are fundraising for!
  • We are trying to raise $100,000 collectively during Giving Week and you are helping us to reach that goal. You can set an individual goal for your fundraiser as well, to let your friends and family know what your individual goal is.
  • Most importantly, you are responsible for having fun with your fundraising efforts and working to share enthusiasm and support for your fund and the causes and objectives you are helping to support. Create a fun video and colorful, passionate thank you message. These small gestures can go a long way during Giving Week!
